narwhal, newfoundland, nautilus, newt, nodosaurus,nabarlek, naked mole rat, nandu, nene, nightingale, nine banded armadillo, numbat, nurse shark, nuthatch, nutria. ( i stayed away from animals with northern in their names, such as northern spotted owl and north american beaver, etc)
