how do i ask my mom when i can start wearing make up?

That depends on how old you are. I would simply ask, "Mom, can I wear make up?" or "when can I start wearing make up?" My mother let me start using it when I was 12 or 13. Good luck! :)

My dad told me that I couldn't wear makeup until I was 16! it's crazy cause then when i got 16 he wanted to make me wait tell I was 18 but I didn't it depends on you. how old are you?
I think that whether they let you wear it depends on why you want to wear it?
if you want to wear it to look older then you need to wait!
The easiest way to go about talking to anyone one is to just be honest!
A good way to bring it up would be to just go to a makeup counter while your out shopping and start looking at it! Then ask her what she thinks!

Ask her how old she was when she started wearing makeup :) That would be an icebreaker. Then maybe tell her what you think (respectfully) Then ask her when she thinks you will be old enough. Don't be in too much of a hurry to grow up :) You're only young once.

i just asked her. and she was totally cool about it. but she didnt let me wear eyeliner for a few more years. i started wearing make up in seventh grade, mostly really natural and light colors. then mascara. and now she doesnt even care what i wear. um, just dont overdo it the first time. you have plenty of years to come to try new eyeshadow colors and makeup products.
