I currently have 264 pairs of shoes. Not counting three pairs of running shoes.

I have
13- Jordans 3 customized
5- pair of strap around yo ankles white black gold blue pink
6-10- pair of flip flops cant live without them various colors
3- pair of pink filas i got the pink white n gray one and the pepto bismal all pink with purple laces pink is my favorite color O yeah i have a pair of cream colored ones two they are hella cute.
2- pair of vans
6- boots
5 pairs of air forces
3 pair of those jesus sandals lol

1. pair of Roos or kangaroos they pink and they have a pocket on the side wit a zipper for a sac.
2 wedding heels always a brideaid never a bride.
2 pair of Baby Phat shoes some cute gold heels and a cheap gold sandal

I don't think people read the question right, you said how many shoes does one deem ESSENTIAL to their wardrobe not how many pair of shoes does one have, right? Anyway I have 5 pairs that I deem essential to my wardrobe, 1) is a sexy black pair of stileto boots for going out on the town 2) a pair of black low heel pointy toe pumps for work, on the cooler days. 3 ) A pair of low kitten heeled sandles for work, in the summer months 4) always a selection of about a dozen flip flops to choose from, for those beach days, or running out to the grocery store, or when I am in a rush to get out to go argue with my boyfriend LOL 5) at least one good sturdy pair of althletic/running sneakers, for doing chores or exercising.

I have around 60 something pairs of high heels (closed and sandals)
And around 10 pairs of high heeled boots.
I have 1 pair of ballet flats and 1 pair of running shoes

All shoes are essential to me wardrobe. There is no limit. Every pair I own, has 1 or more outfits they go with.

i have 3 pairs a of tennis shoes 1 pair of skate shoes and getting another pair one pair of heels i have like 6 pairs of flip flops and getting more this weekend and more

im some were in the 300 hundreds i kinnda lost track... but the # of shoes that r rlly important 5 some were in the 100 hundreds
