That is for sure the best way to put that. And i would say that is the most fantastic way to spend your time. Direct truth always pierces the soul. Any thing else is a waste of time.

Well it's pretty much common knowledge that people really don't like change. Some people can handle it and others can't. If your ideas challenge people it may be offensive. As long as you're not trying to be annoying I don't think it's a bad thing. You should always challange the way people think. However, you WILL offend some people. It's just the way things go.

It's the way they were raised.....seems that people nowadays would rather backdoor you than stand face to face and tell you the truth. I think it's all about having no backbone and again the way people are being brought up and learning what the right thing to do is. Pretty pessimistic huh!

I feel like i'm a very brutally honest person also. And my family is always telling me that i'm hurting other peoples feelings. And I need to think before I speak, but when someone asks how do I look? I'm not gonna lie and say good if they don't. I feel honesty is best policy!!!

If you are referring to this service, you should realize that
people are reading what you write, not understanding what
you think.
If I wrote something like "All XXXs are YYY" and there isn't
anything else around it to say when or how you mean, we're
going to take it that you are making the general statement that
you think all XXXs are always YYY.
Which might be pretty offensive to some of us ... given the
wrong XXX and YYY.
Is it possible you aren't really reading your questions without
thinking how they might be perceived by someone who didn't
know you?

What is straight forward to you can be offensive to others. Sometimes, like the saying goes, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.
I am personally very tactful when I tell someone something. I consider their feelings before I speak. I don't consider myself more righteous than most, to be able to say whatever the heck I please!

Personally I do not like when people beat-around-the-bush. It is alright to be staight forward with people just as long as you can take someone being straitght forward with you. I hate it when people say they tell it like it is, but when someone tell it like it is to them, they curl up in a ball.

The world is suffering from a severe case of anal-retentive disorder IE political correctness and over zealous self-righteousness.

I think you should be honest all the time but, at times, you have to use a few wise lies. But, you have to consider other people's feelings and not seem like a mean person.
