I have a nanny related question?

I'm considering going on vacation for a week with a family to watch their three children under the age of 2. I can't seem to come up with a rate of compensation. They're willing to pay for gas and travel and they're asking what my fee would be. I'm at a complete loss as to what I should charge. Any suggestions?

How much responsibility will you have for these children while you are there? If your duty to those children is comparable to what you do for them on a daily basis at home, then your compensation should be equal to that which you receive normally.
