Why should I vote Republican?

You should vote republican because you support the further evolution of an elite ruling class of the rich supported by the working class. You should vote republican because you refuse to acknowledge that others' beliefs may be valid. You could also vote republican because you support the invasion of other countries for their resources (why did GOD put our oil under their sand anyway?).

Republicans used to represent smaller government and less government spending. Way back in the day, they were also pioneers for civil rights (ala Lincoln). Today they fail miserably at both of those objectives and instead chose to pursue a "religious" agenda, that I find does not embody the actual Christian values of compassion, tolerance, and care.

So it really depends on what you want to accomplish in life. Are you interested in preserving the well being of all, or of the top 10% of Americans (possibly including yourself).?

I guess it just depends on whether you want to actually stand for something. I mean, we are in a war with islamic extremists, and one side thinks you can reason with people willing to blow you and your family up, while the republican side sees that there is no reasoning with an enemy that will test its own weapons on it's citizen's, along with many other issues, such as abortion, and the right to have a religious belief. Bottom line is, if you have a sense of morality, the only way to defend it is to vote republican...in my opinion, they are the least of the evils!

Vote Republican if you support the Republican candidate.

When the Republican president talks about what he/she wants to impliment into this country and what kind of country the person wants, then go for it. You shouldn't commit to one side 100% of the time. Frankly, look at who will make more of your wishes in this country come true. Whether that's illegalization of gay marriage, illegalization of abortion, or the other way around. Each candidate has their own agenda. Voting Republican is what you do when you support that party and their basic ideas.
