i like Harry Potter and detest Twilight. My considerable difficulty with Twilight is there is basically no intensity to it. it relatively is an exceptionally shallow series of books. Admittedly I surely have basically study 3 and a 0.5 of the 4 books, via fact the final e book became so recoil making that i could no longer end analyzing it. And vampires do no longer sparkle. i'm rereading the Harry Potter series for touching directly to the millionth time on the 2d and that i'm nevertheless picking up on little issues that i haven't observed from different readings. it is so properly deliberate it is surely wonderful. i will study the series again and again back and in no way become uninterested in it.

Sorry, I think that the whole series is watered down fantasy. More character's should have died by now(like robert jordan, j.k. rowlings seems to like keeping them all alive and well until you get fed up with seeing them around every corner.). Another thing that gets me is that all of the teachers seem to think that Harry is special instead of just taking him aside and training him year round to fight the threat of Voldermort, they let me go home to the stupid family he stays with running the risk of him being endangered because they cannot protect him there.

Sorry to all you fans but that is the way I feel about it. Want to read a series that is worth while? Try David Eddings The Belgariad. or Terry Goodkinds Sword of Truth.

Stop wasting your time, and just watch the movies when they come out, atleast then you can consider yourself lucky for only having spent 2 hours watching someone act out the book rather than a day or two to read the mindless dribble.

I love Harry Potter. Totally obsessed with it.
No wonder it holds the record of the bestselling book.

Ohhh I love the books :). Not so keen on Harry at the moment - he's quite an irritating teenager.

I can't wait for the last book!

i like the book because they have the ability to put you in a magical world, but i think that the plot and the characters are weakly designed

How about really don't care one way or the other? Doesn't bother me that the character exists and wouldn't bother me if he didn't.
