I have a surplus of plastic cd cases/sleeves, just taking up space in my house and I want to get rid of them! I don't want to just toss them in the trash because I'm sure someone out there needs them...maybe. I don't know. Can you help?

Well, there's probably a bunch of stuff you can do with them....but boy is it fun to smash old CD cases with a giant sledge hammer!!!

I had the same dilemma. I took out the jackets and put all of them and my CDs in a portable CD case. I kept the cases in a box in the garage and they stayed there for about 3 years. Then, a couple of days ago, I just threw them out. Unless you plan on reselling them someday, you don't need the cases. It's nice of you to think of others, but trust me, no one wants them -- not even the Salvation Army. They look tacky and they're a nuissance. Get rid of 'em!

I have a friend who made a "wall" to separate her computer from the rest of the living room area with old CD cases. She used gorilla glue to hold them all together and glued small hinges along the rows so it was accordian style. It looked awesome! You can even put pictures in some of the CD cases on the wall!

If they are for music CDs, keep them in a box in your closet. I know it's kind of a pain in the ****, but I recently made $300 by selling one of my old CDs that I really didn't like. Apparently, it was a rare item.

1. recycle
2. check with surplus store if they wants it.
3. Post on craigslist.org if people are interested in buying from you.
4. Try sell it on ebay.

Have a yard sale, sell them on eBay or take them to a store that buys and sells used cd's.
