What are your pets called and why?

My cat is called Nemo and she had a kitten and we called it Squirt - from Finding Nemo film - my sons fav when we first got the cat

There's an alligator that keeps coming into my yard, so I decided to let it stay, and I named it Bill Clinton.

My five cats have fairly stodgy names. Kinsey, my orange tabby, has a family name because my family has many people with red and blond hair. Sylvie was named Sigourney because I like the actress and the cat is very slender with very long legs. Sylvie didn't like being called Siggy so we compromised on Sylvie. The Amber child got her name because of her amber eyes. Mincho was named after a cat I met in Guatemala. He came every night to have some of my chicken dinner while I was staying at a river hotel there. Cameo is my old cat who was a rescue, her former family had given her that name. It suits her very well as she is pretty as a picture.

Mink is 10 and he is the softest cat I have ever petted. Leo is 4 and he looks like a lion, girls call him FluffyButt. Grace is 2 and I named her after my Great Great Aunt. Junior is one. He belongs to Daddy. Dad said no more cats and he brought one home.

My hammy's name is Hamilten Dudly (Hami Dude) because when we first got him, on the car ride home, my sister had a Cracker Stacker and she gave him some ham. He ate all of it and we decided to call him Hami. That Sunday me and my dad were talking as we got ready for church and we thought he should have a big name and then we could shorten it to something cooler. (i.e. Hamilten Dudly= Hami Dude) And kittens that I help take care of at my friends house are named Frito, Dorito and Cheeto because they are orangish(and we were hungry at the time!)

Well I have a kitten and her name is Spotty-I know, odd name for a kitten, but still, it makes sense because she has a tiny white spot on the back of her head and her fur there is mostly black, so the spot looks like a speck of dust, like it doesn't belong there. Usually, we call her Kitty because it's easier and she answers to Kitty.

I have always named my cat's people names cuz they are like real people to me and not animals.

I have three cats, Gizmo which was named off the movie gremlins because she has the same exact face, Bandit becasue he looks like he has a mask on his face and Bailey....we just liked that name. I also have two birds a Cockatiel named Skittles because she has two orange circles on each side of her head and they looked like skittles and a Quaker parrot named Kinko, because she will copy everything you say like Kinko's copying.

I had a border collie named Jimmy after Jimmy Buffett.

Now we have Ike, another border collie. I wanted to go with the tradition of naming him with a one syllable name...easier for herding training. When we decided to get him we went through the alphabet and when we got to i Ike came out, we laughed and that was it. He's a sweetiel!

I just adopted a cat on Saturday. She came with the name Fifi but we changed it to Sophie. She is adorable. Changed the name because my boyfriend didn't like the name Fifi and Sophie was the only name I suggested that he didn't hate, and it's close to her original name. I was going to go with a more girly name like Princess or Belle.

I rescued 3 animals. 2 female hamsters(ChaChing because she is an escape arrest cost us $money$), the other one Turbo because my husband came back from Iraq and didn't have a chance to name one. and 1 rabbit her name is Bella because she is beautiful.
We also have another hamster. She is a dwarf and my Aunt gave her to us as a gift. Her name is Shadow because she is very hipper and hard to find. :)
