Pandoras Box is a mythological box given to Pandora by a god. She was told never to open the box but her curiosity overwhelmed her and she did anyway. When she did countless little lizards ran out of the box with names on them like greed and lust and deception. Finally she got over the shock and at the last second grabbed one of the lizards and put it back in the box. On that lizard was written "hopelessness". That is why people still have hope but are afflicted by so many other troubles.

Pandora's Box from greek (?) mythology? Pandora got this box and she wasn't supposed to open it. Her curiosity got the better of her and she opened it. Out came bugs, natural disasters and all things bad in our world.

The box was the place where all the sickness, bad and the ugly was hidden. Pandora was not suppose to open it, she was only to guard the box. Then again curiosity kill the cat and she opened it, letting all the diseases, the bad, and the ugly come out; giving us the world we live today...
