I think that people misunderstood the part about people of "African descent living in the US etc"; I was just being specific, I didn't want to say Africans from Arfica; I meant blacks in the west, US and the Caribbean

America is a nation of immigrants; black people are just one type of immigrant. Some of them were forced to "immigrant" and they have had to pay for that with years of abuse and racial hatred. The days of slavery are long behind us, but some people (white and black) have trouble dropping the chains.
I don't like the term African American. I agree with Whoopee Goldberg when she says, "I'm an American, just an American." The sooner we drop the racial labeling, the sooner we can end our racial troubles. They don't realize it, but blacks that call themselves African Americans are just continuing the racial stereotypes, and I can say the same to the Mexican Americans.

Is there supposed to be something wrong with it? I think that it is fine. I know alot of African ( of African descent people) and when they come to the US they take full advantage of certain opportunities that the USA offers that they don't get in other countries. They are very hard working, motivated people, their work ethic is very strong.

Black people are Americans just as white people are. Give them a break for gods sake, Jesse! What do you think about Mexican people or white people? Leave em alone! Man the world would be so much better if everyone was color blind!

Nothing, They are just people like everyone else! I'm pretty sure you're gonna find people that will prefer the the US to be "minority-free" but we are in the year 2006... Everyone is free to live wherever they want!
Why the question, What's the problem?

What do I think about black people regarding what exactly? I'm okay with them in all civil respects. They're just as human as you or I am, except for the color of their skin.
Is there any point to your open-ended question?

i think most of em try to be what they're not, they try fittin into the so called "hip-hop" "gangsta" mentality. Others just remain themselves which i like and live cool, most of the black girls talk too much and bit*h alot, but others r just sweet. well but in all these, i still loooooovvvvvvvvvveeeeess ma people.

I see them as a part of our society. Am I supposed to see them any different than I do white, asian, or hispanic? I don't get the meaning behind this question.
