I want o write a letter of invitaion to my brother in Nigeria and I dont know the format to write it.

You start of with Dear... and then say that you would like him to visit you on such and such date etc. Also provide the address where he will be staying along with things you intend to do while he is here. You must also include the day he intends 2 return. You should also send a letter 2 him that he can give to immigration of his intentions etc why he his and so on.

Do you mean what information does it have to contain for immigration/travel purposes, officially?
I would have thought just writing, Dear ...., I am hoping you can visit me on (date) until (date), you can stay in our spare room etc would be enough. Add in some places you can take him to see/ things to do, just write a normal letter!

simple first u have to have ur papers in uk first then u have to have a good job or he has a god job here in nigeria . if the details above are ok then all u do is to invite him and apply to the uk ......
