Many people say that once they got married they stopped having sex...is that true? I thought once you were married it would make it easier for you to have sex, especially before having the kids.

Marriage is the time to start having sex. That stuff before was practice. During the course of marriage sex drive goes up and down for both of you. In a good run it is up for both at the same time. There are a lot of influencing factors which affect things including pregnancy, children, work, fatigue and health. Women can be greatly affected by birth control, infections, ovarian cysts, PMS (yes its real), heavy menstruation etc. Men can also be affected greatly by stress. Faced with all the issues which can cause a drop in sexual activity its a wonder we get as much as we do. Its also one of the more frustrating aspects of having a mate who is able but not willing.

My husband and I didn't have a problem with loss of sex drive. If you set aside "dating" time and remember why you got married, sex can be quite good. The reason many married people don't have sex too often, even before the kids come, is because of things like work, bills to pay, housework, etc.

Mine hasn't, but if your avatar is any indication, yours almost certainly will.

New research from Hamburg-Eppendorf University indicates that women in stable relationships begin losing their sex drive within a year. By four years, only 50% of women report having interest in sex "regularly."

Mine did! Especially after my 2nd child! I even took testosterone to help it.......did not work. Sometimes it is just one more thing i have to do. It is not my husbands fault. I don't want anyone else. but lot's of the time I just want to go to sleep and skip it! He has a strong sex drive and will drive me nuts until I give it up...So, I usually just do it!

It doesn't disappear but, it does slow down after a while. If you don't have kids yet, theres not to much to worry about. That's the fun part. Its after kids when it gets faded out of ya'lls normal bedroom routine.
