i.e. Games can be released in UK at the same time as America, so that we don't have to wait so long for the European release, which is essentially down to translating it into so many other languages. It can't be a market issue, since the game market in the UK is certainly one of the biggest in the EU.

As you said the release delay is with Hollywood movies or games going to Mexico and all other recipients which speak a language other than English. As with English speaking recipients like in the UK the delay is because distribution mediums vary from country to country and it takes time to realize the avenue that will be used. However I agree with your disenchantment with this because clearly they should be able to work this out before the release date

Honestly, I don't know why this is. Are you able to import american games?
In America, we are usually irritated that we have to wait for translation of Japanese games!

Well becuase it can't, it will take time for the games iso encrypted file to be transfered to the region code and be tested for any glitches!
