i remember jade coming out the house in a pink dress while kate won she came out in a denim skirt. my bf insists jade only lasted till the 4th week but i fiercely disagree! who is right theres alot at stake here!

Your boyfriend is sooooooooooooooooooooo wrong... I would suggest that you dance around the room telling him how wrong he is. Jade was hated by many (including myself) for a lot of the show and I am very surprised that she didn't go out. After a while she kind of grew on me and I remember on the final night voting for her to win. Graham Norton slated her for ages and she had the same effect on him as he then started to back her to win. Yes Jade came 4th, then sexy Alex 3rd, (the bit with him dressed up behind the door singing to that song was sooooooooooo hot), then boring Johnny came 2ND and you are right Kate Lawler won (only coz all the men wanted to bed her)!

You're right.
But, a friend who worked on the show at the time said it was a stitch up.
Jade was up for eviction around week 4. The press were going mad with 'Jade the Pig' stuff and the general public were hating her guts. The phone votes indicated Jade was going to be evicted that week and the crowd on eviction night were baying for her blood. Endemol (the program makers) decided they couldn't guarantee her safety if she was evicted, so the person with the second highest votes was kicked out instead (can't remember who).
The next week the previous 4 weeks of tabloid 'get the pig' were wiped away with a massive campaign of 'we love her down to earthness' and all that. It was a massive publicity campaign with expensively placed tabloid features. It worked a bit too well. Instead of just saving her bacon they turned her into a national treasure.
Jade is a very, very lucky girl.

Jade lasted till the final night - there were 4 of them left in the house - Jade came out in 4th place, Alix was next in 3rd place, Jonny was 2nd and Kate Lawler won - tell you bf that he is wrong, why do they bother to argue with us, don't they know we are always right

maybe hes confused with her place did she not come fourth? cos it was kate and johnny who were the two finalists, then? cant remember or maybe she came 3rd, but yes she had the pink dress and recently dyed hair blonde
