The key word here is "allow", but it also depends on the document. If it's just a letter you wrote, an administrative assistant could sign it, and put his initials right next to your forged signature. However, if you're entering into a contract, then no. You must sign on your own (unless the person has power of attorney, in which case that person will sign his/her own name with the designation of "power of attorney", with the POA attached to the document).

yes you would need power of attorney forms in order for that to happen and in some cases it may still not be legal. You would need to call a attorney for laws in your state, most attorneys have a free consultation to advise you.

If you are aware that they are signing your name and you are OK with it it is legal. You would be the only person to contest a document if you did not sign it.

Well .. it is forgery .. legal or not would depend on what the document is. In most cases it would not technically be illegal it would, however, make the document "not legally binding".

not if you grant them power of attorney...but they have to sign their name FOR you...but you have to be careful with POA...its best to give them power for 1 specific thing...like selling your car for you....a general power of attorney would allow them to put your kids up for adoption....(exaggerating but still....)
