Hatred begets hatred. You would simply spread hatred instead of stopping it.
Though it's startlingly difficult to do, I've found being kind to such people is much more effective.

Unfortunitely you are not the one who has the right to judge that. Some times there is great victory in the end in being the better person. Maybe it sounds a little old fashioned biblical but I think this is the exact time to turn the other cheek and not let this person effect your life. And don't end your life because of one **** head. Trust me, I have felt like that before but that is just letting them win. I don't know if you believe in God but I do and I do believe that what goes around comes around. I have seens some pretty nasty people get theres in the end. It isn't your job to punish.

One man or any individual cannot achieve this. The best way of eradicating such people is to neglect them like dirt and turn a deaf ear to whatever they preach or talk about. Avoid their company and try and dissuade people around them to come away from them, making the individual realise that he/she is alone in the world and nobody to stand by or lean on. Automatically the habit or attempt spread to hatred dies in him or her and he/.she will become a useful citizen. This needs concentrated effort by younger generation with a totally applied mind and dedicated commitment to the plan of action and careful scrutiny of the develoment on a daily basis. This attitude is a plague and should be erradicated with proper applied treatment only. First the habit of hero worship shouldbe dropped from our society and then there will be no attempttovoice oneself to guloible listeners and accept statement as absolute truth.

Never give a person so much power that he might make you hate them, because as long as you are hating, he is winning not you.
True victory would be when you take away that power from him, see him for what he is and not what you want them to be, instead of hate, spread peace and love doubly more.
No one in the world has more power over us than we give it to them.

its takes more knowledge and courage to turn their life upside down and make them miserable for the rest of their life, then it does to kill them or yourself. just start figuring out how to make them miserable and you will start to feel better no matter what they did or said. THE ONLY WAY TO SPREAD HATRED IS TO PASS IT DOWN, GENERATION TO GENERATION!

Sounds to me like you need to get away from this person and get some professional help for yourself. If it's a relationship that you're in, it certainly isn't a healthy one - leave now!
