1 c baking soda and 1 c lemon juice place in tupperware bowl and fill with warm water let stand for 30 to 45 minutes, then wash rinse and dry; try spraying tupperware with a vegetable spray before using and this will make cleanups easier and ordor free.

Put a wadded up newspaper in the container with the lid on. Store that way. The newspaper soaks up the smell. Or set the container in the sun for a couple of hours.

Soak in vinegar or lemon juice, place about a cup of this solution in the microwave for about 20 to 30 seconds. I prefer lemons and use the rinds.

wash in hot water with dishwashing soap, rinse.......fill with tomato juice for 3 hours in the fridge, wash again.....presto no smell

Tomato sauce would work, but also stain your bowl, try baking soda or viniger.
