giving a horse treats to prevent biting or nipping will only increase his bad habit. even though he may not bite, he'll be nipping(or sometimes biting) the person who gives him the treats. instead, try slapping him on the nose and saying NO! really harshly-animals always go by your tone of voice.

and no, you shouldn't feed your horse any type of dairy product. i asked my vet the same question one time and he said that it would cause colic or founder.

don't let your sister around the horse. does the horse bite you? if not your sister probably did something to the horse to make it bite. get help from a trainer to help stop. don't try poison. it will kill your horse. someone said before, that if you give him a slap on the neck it might work, but never hit the horse in the face.

I don't know if it will stop your horse biting... but horses love cheese. If you have a cheese sandwhich then give a bit to your horse, i always feed my pony the crust.

does he have a place he ussally bites at? if he does boil a potato until its rele hot and then stick it under her shirt like in her arm where he bites. when he bites her he'll get a mouth full of hot patato. it will hurt his tounge and he wont swallow it. he wont do it again. or u can just have a stick ready and give him a sharp slap on his neck. dont slap him on the face in case u miss and hit him in the eye. or make him head shy.

Biting is a habit horses develop, but if you want to give him a snack, try carrots or apples.
