Although the war between Hezbollah and Israel has ceased; I'm only compelled to believe that the people of Lebanon are held captive to the whimsical of Hezbollah; a government within a government. Will Hezbollah continue to dictate policies from Syria's and Iran's prospective; and not those of the sovereign nation Lebanon?

Yes they are, the president of Lebabon has openly said this. Hezbollah has a bigger army the Labanon so there is not much they can do to stop them. In fact a good amount of Lebanon is Christian that wants nothing to do with Hezbollah but again there is nothing they can do about it.

it all depends from which perspective you look.

Hezbollah is an organization in Lebanon, it is not labeled as a terrorist organization and because of that it has a lot of popular support. Also, do you think that he Jewish lobby in the US is controlling the USA? the Jewish lobby can also be labeled as a terrorist organization as well as the Catholic Church during the crusades.

Each one of these organizations believe that they are doing the right thing and those that belong to it believe the same.

It all depends how you see it and on which side you find yourself.

You are correct, this is why it is vital that Lebanon police their own and handle this issue internally. If they do not Israel will have no choice but to continue to try and handle it for them.
