is a cleansing diet a diet where you eat only watermelon for 3 days, and that makes you have to pee a lot, so it cleans you out?
i don't know anything else about a cleansing diet other wise, but maybe you should just stick to exercising and all that stuff.

I tried a 5-day version of the cleansing diet a couple months ago. After the second day, I ended up being really weak, getting a fever, and throwing up for the first time in years. I guess my metabolism requires constant feeding, or something ... it wasn't fun. I started eating normally again and then felt fine the next day.
My choir teacher, however, did the diet with no catches and no problems whatsoever - he got great results.
Try it out. It depends on the person. <3

Which one are you talking about there are a lot of detoxing/ cleansing diets out there. I think the most current is the lemonade fasting cleanse and I couldn't due the Cayenne pepper so I had really bad cravings but there was a girl on the view who did it for 10 day's and a doctor on the show told her she should only fast for 1-2 days otherwise you send your body into malnutrition mode and it starts to store everything as fat.

Anything extreme is not good for you. You will have alot of bowel troubles with this diet. Moderation in all things is a good rule of thumb. Eat light; high fiber veggies and low fat proteins and add lots of water and you'll get a better result.

I have tried it. It is hard, and disgusting and I lost about 5 pounds of muscle in one week. After that, i got off it because it is not healthy. You will lose muscle and feel tired all the time.

It depends on how long you are going to do this for...Or if you can even handle doing it..Set a goal and go from there. Its hard. You will be so tired and weak.
