I am a huge movie fan and I know a lot of movies. If you like a comedy, pick something like The Ringer or She's The Man cuz your a girl.
An action movie that is not that bad is 16 Blocks, Ultraviolet (wait a little bit for Ultraviolet). Aeon Flux is not as bad as Ultraviolet in my opinion.
A few good family movies are Yours, Mine, and Ours, The Pacifier, or Are We There Yet?.
If you like fantasy Harry Potter is not that bad unless you absolutely don't believe in that stuff. War of the Worlds is a good Sci Fi movie.
If your parents let you watch the thriller/mystery movies out there are Charlie's Angels, I think Full Throttle is better than the first one, I Robot is not that violent or bad, and King Kong is a really good movie, eventhough you might have watched it already.
Pretty much all animation is good.
