Well, here is an answer from the men..
Several months ago, scientists at European's annual human reproduction conference suggested that the results of a recent analysis revealed the presence of female hormones in beer, and suggested that men should take a look at their beer consumption. The theory is that drinking beer makes men turn into women!
To test the theory, 100 men were each fed six pints of beer within a one-hour period. It was then observed that 100 per cent of the men gained weight, talked excessively without making sense, became overly emotional, couldn't drive, failed to think rationally, argued over nothing, had to sit down while urinating, couldn't perform sexually, and refused to apologise when wrong.
No further testing is planned.

Yes, that and if he's able to walk and chew gum at the same time.
But seriously, it's not always about what a man says, it's more about the way a man says it that would truly denote his intelligence, however, if he can only speak on one thing, and that's usually about himself, that usually tells how much he knows.

Not at all. I like to hear what everyone has to say. Certainly, sometimes discretion is truly the better part of valor and knowing when to shut up is a mark of intelligence. *L*

Never, why would that be an indicator of intelligence? I see no connection. Also, I hate silient men. They drive me crazy.

Having a conversation with a man gives me a pretty good idea of his intelligence.

I certainly hope not. I'm not a chatty cathy, but I do like to engage in a little conversation from time to time.

No, I base it on what he talks about and you can't do that with your mouth shut. :)

Same way they base their own happiness on the thickness of his wallet.

Well, no woman would like either an overly talkative guy or someone who is too dumb to risk saying anything.
