Is this a position for a man or woman?

Wow, my daughter did this for sometime - she said they use the dirty towels to clean the tub and floors and sinks. Scrub the toilets, vacuum etc. Change the nasty filthy sheets (never change the covers). The hard part is what the occupants leave behind - vomit, bodily fluids of all sorts in a variety of places - messes you never dreamed of!

You get paid minimum, and people are bad at tipping the cleaning staff. It does earn money, anyone can do it. Just expect the worst and you won't be surprised.

A hotel housekeeper cleans the rooms, changes the sheets, etc.

Most of the housekeepers I've seen in my travels have been women. But, like all jobs, getting and keeping the position is based on how well you do the work, not your gender.

They cleanup like a maid. They make beds, wash bathrooms, vacuum rugs, exchange used towels for fresh ones and other cleanup chores. They could also be the person in charge of maids seeing that all of the work is done on schedule.

They are most often women (since the hours are flexible enough to be able to fit with kid's school hours BUT the pay is low). In small owner-operated hotels they could be men in the owner's family or the owner himself.

Either man or woman.
They wipe down the hotel rooms, change the bedding, clean the bathrooms, vacuum, etc, whenever a guest has checked out.
They also do the laundry.
Very hard work.
