...when you see somebody get up from their chair, and search all over the room, for the TV remote, just to change the TV to the next channel, after they find it?

My point is, people GET UP and search frantically ALL OVER THE ROOM for the remote control, just so they can change the channel from channel 41 to channel 42. I mean, I could have gotten up, manually changed the channel, made a sandwich, ate it, gone to the bathroom and sat back down by the time they find the remote just to change the channel!!!

being a perfectionist, it bugs me when I can't locate something. At that point, it becomes more of a mission to find the stinkin remote than the need to change the channel. Half the time, by the time I find the remote, I'm not interested in whatever might have been on television.
You know what else bugs me? When someone keeps the remote on top of the tv. What's the point of the remote if you are going to be walking to the tv anyway?

I do that. I have two options. Continually get up to change the channel. Or get up once to look for the remote. Plus I don't like being too close to the screen when I change channels.

Remote controls should have a page button on them just like cordless phones.
I get so mad when i cant find the remote.
I'm the type off guy who won't change the channel until i find it..

It makes me buy 20 T.V. remotes,so we can NEVER fool around finding the remote!!! I hate that
