Use a cottonball soaked with "Everclear" to clean your face. It worked for all four of my kids. Everclear can be purchased at your local liquor store.

As for a really good face wash try a soap that is glycerin based try to avoid soaps with strong fragrances and facial scrubs because they tend to irritate the skin and cause you to break out more. As for getting rid of acne completely ask your doctor about roaccutane. I used to have bad acne and it completely cured my acne and changed my skin from oily to normal. Its' awesome because I havent had to worry about a pimple for atleast a year. Roaccutane is a pill u take once daily after lunch. Trust me this is a wonder pill. Look it up. It's usually a 6 month treatment but my skin was completely clear within 2 months.

I use St Ives Medicated Apricot scrub in the mornings and Neutrogena Acne Soap at night. I also use Persa Gel when have acne or feel a flare up. Plain old rubbing alcohol is also great.
The trick is to keep your face as clean as possible.

This will sound crazy but urine kills the bacteria that causes acne. If you have access to a baby diaper it is the best method. Urine is also a known cure for athletes foot.

sunshine, sunshine, and more sunshine. UV rays are a natural aniboitic, and sterilze everything. Also, before bed, put some regular ivory soap on the zits, and let it dry em out. Then get more sunshine! use a tanning booth if you have access too.

First of all it is not going to be over in a week.
Secondly, before taking any meds I would try natural homemade remedies.
like this:
"Rub the acne with garlic cloves several times a day."

Good luck
