I currently hold a Bachelor of Science Degree from a top 30 University (USC) and am a candidate for my MPA from a top 2 school (Northwestern). Although I am satisfied with my career and salary, should I consider going part-time in the evening for 4 years to pursue my JD at a distinguished university to practice law? Even though I am married, have a full-time job & two children under the age of 5. Am I taking on too much.

I am a firm believer in pursuing your dreams.
Are you taking on too much? I think only you can answer that question. You have already proved to yourself that you have the motivation to make it through 4 years of college, not to mention raising two babies. As long as your husband is fully behind your decisions, you can make it work.
It will not be easy, but if you have your family on your team, you can accomplish anything.
Good luck to you.

That depends on if you are going to be a good lawyer, or an evil lawyer. Well, since there is no such thing as a good lawyer, it means you are going to be an evil lawyer. The world is already too full with evil, blood-sucking lawyers, so I say NO! You sound like a decent hard working person, and don't need the corrupt legal system destroying your values and family.

No... "Go forth in the direction of your dreams, live the life you've imagined!"

I am in the same situation (minus the fany degrees... still trying to get mine)... but my pay is good, I've got a family... but I still go to school. It's tough but not impossible!

Best wishes!

You may be, but if you can accomplish what you already have, it is possible. You seem to have the background to achieve, so I am sure you can do anything.
