I say the chicken!
Okay then the egg.
But where did the egg come from? So it must be the chicken, right? Wait, don't chickens come from eggs? Okay, so the egg came first. Well who laid the egg? So it has to be a chicken!

For a continuation of the Chicken species,
the egg and the chicken need to exist at the same time. Without the chicken, the egg can't hatch. And when the egg hatch, then you have a chicken.
