I don't think that will have an impact on the environment, as a matter of fact many of the atom bombs that have been tested are far more powerful and agressive to mother nature than a billion candles lit at once.

I think they will cause a huge gap in the atmosphere layer and many animals will die due to lack of oxygen. Maybe later on, the people will die due to heat and lack of oxygen.
