it does sparkle but not as much as the uncolored crystal clear one.Maybe it has something to do with the amount of light refracted.
In btw,I feel that a Black diamond is the most beautiful stone on earth!!!

a black diamond is almost just like onyx...i believe that is the black stone...My sister has a black diamond and it is beautiful...it is very shiny...i guess u could say it sparkles...

Not really. It pretty much looks like onyx. If you want something that is dark and sparkles different colors try black opal.

A diamond is like all different prism, and could refract gentle entering into it. the technique of refraction in a prism separates white gentle into its constituent colors of the seen wavelength spectrum: purple, orange, yellow, eco-friendly, blue, indigo, violet. hence, white gentle seems to glitter different colors whilst passing by using a diamond.
