because Yahoo does not want to do battle with the SPCA. This group has a strong lobby in Washington.

Maybe the asker should try this in public, let him go to the most crowded place near to him, and skin off a cat front of the crowds. Maybe he will understand “why” when he sees the people’s reaction towards him.
“Why would Yahoo delete such a question?” well, because similar questions could lead to harm not only animals, but humans too.

The content is a violation of the yahoo policies. Before posting questions maybe you should take a look at the policy. And ripping the skin of a cat is a crime against nature.

Hmm..ripping the skin of a cat? Do you really even have to ask the question? I mean unless it falls under the whole "disecting for educational purposes" it's just a inmoral thing to talk about it, but I suppose some people are sick like that.

Yahoo deleted the question because you're talking about cat cruelty and they don't allow that type of a question to be posted on Yahoo!Answers.

Don't know. The best way to "skin" a cat, is to get clotheslined over the top rope and hold on to the ropes. Then pull yourself back up. Shawn Michaels is awesome at it!

Was the cat in question alive or dead at the time of the suggested hair removal? If alive, that promotes animal cruelty, if deceased, it promotes taxidermy and I don't see why that would be an issue.

Because that is a hideous question, why would anyone want to rip skin off of anything, how would that make you feel to have your skin ripped off?? How horrible.

Because that abusing the cat and Yahoo can be sued for animal cruelty.

you do not talk about cats in here. i got reported once for telling this woman to kill the cat, she asked what to do to stop it from crapping on the floor. i told her to kill it. next thing you know i got reported. i was j/k at that.. so now i do not even answer pet questions lol.
