He cannot run now because he wasn't born here, but some republicans are trying to change laws so that he can. After checking out this site http://www.arnoldexposed.com/arnold.htm would you vote for him?

Nobody in politics is trying to change the law so he can run, that is a myth.

However, Arnold has done some great things in California. He is doing what is morally correct (which is why nobody wants him to be President, if he could, he's not controllable.)

I did not check out the site and I don't plan to.
I don't know if the law should be changed (even though right now it means I would not be able to run for that office)...it was placed there for a very good reason at the time, but like myself, America is largely a country of immigrants.

I like Arnold Schwartzneger...he's my kind of Republican.
I'd like to see more Republicans like him run for office...God knows we've got too many far, far right kooks running everything from the White House to Congress to the Supreme Court.

But what to make of a Constitutional change?
It is something to think about.
Does that include people born in Iran, North Korea or Cuba?
Does that include Democrats, Socialists and Communists?
We need some serious consideration before tampering with the Constitution.

I wouldn't vote for Arnold for president but I do agree that the native born requirement in the constitution should be changed. The way it is now someone who moved out of the country the day they were born and lived their entire life overseas could come back to the US, set up house for 14 years then run for president. On the other hand someone who lives their entire life in the US after coming here as infant can never be president.

Great gods and little fish hooks, he can't speak the language and has been here over 25 years. He's a glad handing flip flopper, a bought man, (Not with money, his enormous ego) Also a lousy Governor. A reformed womanizer, pandering model for gay publications ( I'm not gay bashing, Arnoold does with his cracks about girly men and gay marriage) but he earned a living posing for them. Which makes him a hypocrite.

Didn't vote for him here, either!

ARnold Swharteneger is not a real politician. He's an actor and by the way, only in Cali can some pull some crap like this.

Well, most of us did silly things when younger..I wouldn't hold most of that against him.
But, look what he has done for California, & go by that.
He is trying to clean up the schools, & get the junk food out, & make it a better state.
I would vote for him...almost anyone would be better than what we have now...

I'm a Republican and I can say no I wouldn't vote for him. He's not permitted to under our constitution and I won't support a change to allow him to run.

I don't think Arnold is conservative enough. His ties to the Kennedy clan scare me. He would not get my vote.
