I feel great about it! I really don't mind interracial dating. I think its beautiful when people can express their feelings and not bow to the status que placed on us by society. People forget the culture of america and so it seems, there isn't what they would describe a "problem" with this situation, They choose not to address it, well the "problem" is people being color blind, to the specifics of the word, BLIND TO THE COLORS AROUND YOU. They are unwilling to accept them and hence they are not there or you are blind to them. I don't believe in color blindness, its ignorance, it needs to change, be aware of the wonderous variety around you and accept it. I Think its extremly interesting to learn about other people's ways of life. I think its really sad that people of any race can simply 'dis' others becuase they are of any color.

In my opinion there is no problem with interracial dating or marriage as long as you live in an area of this country where there are fewer prejudices. Unfortunately there are certain states or areas of the USA where there still is prejudice.
The surprising thing is that now a days I see more black people who are prejudiced against interracial dating than white, which in itself is rather disturbing. Prominent people like director Spike Lee for instance.
Why are people prejudiced? because they are ignorant and because they might have been brought up by parents who were prejudiced. And so they think it is the way to be. Which unfortunately just makes them closed minded and ignorant.
Will it ever change? probably, in time it might disappear altogether, and people will learn to accept people for who they are ...members of the human race.
I am Asian and was married to an American girl, we have beautiful children, the mixture of our two cultures created girls who were so pretty they were accepted into modeling by the Ford agency. They have had no problems at all with being interracial and if anything it gets them more boyfriends than I am comfortable with...lol.

It's not for me cuz of the love I have for my own race. I think black is beautiful and I want some little brown kids that are just like me. In regards to others, I just don't like the reasons people have for doing it. Most reasons I hear has nothing to do with attraction. When people exclusively date outside their race because of one or two bad experiences make me sick cuz you're generalizing your own people and its not right or fair. Also, if people keep blending pretty soon races are going to die out and we'll all look the same. Although that might be a good thing because it'll end alot of racism and stuff but at the same time I like own differences. I like to see different skin tones and nationalities. The world will be no fun if everyone was the same.

If you are here on this forum asking for other peoples' opinions, then, in my opinion, it's probably not for you. You're probably not psychologically strong enough. You will most likely suffer too much. I'm not against it, but I believe it's for people who are strong enough to handle the rejection (and other ills) they will almost surely experience from some people--possibly including their own spouse.
The point I'm trying to make is that people who are that strong don't ask for other people's opinions--they usually try to impose their opinion on others. Also, this subject is much more complicated than the couple just having different color skin. And each case is different. As you read this, if your are backing away from the screen, thinking no no, this guy is all wrong, then you would most likely suffer. If you are sticking your face in the screen wanting to bite my nose off for having implied that you might be too wimpy for this, then you've probably got what it takes to survive the mix.

I am against interracialy dating when one person does all the 'settling' in the relationship and allows the other ethnicity or race to be higher than his/her own.
African Americans especially need to be carefuly with interracial dating because of remnants of slavery still existing in our culture today.
Interracial dating is okay as long as both ethnicities are respected by the partner. You can't date a white person and then all they do is make fun of black women on welfare. If you were a black woman in that relationship you should definitely get out no matter how he makes you feel because he will pass that along to your future kids!!!!

In principle it is acceptable. But some riders have to be stated which are relevant. Dating/ marriage need some measure of compatibility for it to be lasting. These issues are not just crush for each other and sex.Culture, habits, upbringing, food habits and faith will be some what divergent. These can cause some serious differences and breakups in relations. Considerable thought and deliberation are therefore needed before embarking on interracial dating and marriage.

I do not think it is anybody's business who you date or who you marry. I have no problem with it. It is so hard to find someone who truly loves you and cares. Why would you let race stand in the way of being with that person? If I met a great guy and he was white I would go out with him. I do not see anything wrong with interracial dating/marriages.

There isn't ANYTHING wrong with it. Time's are changing, and the ones that don't approve are either older people, or predjuice people. I guess some parents think if their little white girl is dating a black guy it's wrong, but he could be just as good if not better than a white guy! And same goes for black girls dating white boys. Don't divide us by color! I'm surprised they haven't made it illegal, but a man and a woman and a man and a man or a woman and a woman can all love each other in this world and there isn't anything wrong with that!!!!! So if you want to date someone of another color (or another SEX) don't let anybody tell you it's wrong beacuse it's what you feel in your heart that matters.

Its so stupid to think that interracial dating is wrong. I mean its just two ppl going out on a date no matter what race you are. If they like each other then no one else need a say on the matter.

Im down for it yet i in basic terms dont choose different races to think of im drawn to them reason i "want" them. I hate while men think of we could be into them via fact without them we'd die. Why do they think of being on my own is such an argument. As a black woman I have no difficulty being autonomous and doing what i'd desire to do without a guy tagging alongside. If i choose a guy i gets one and suited now i dont want drama in my existence and men presently are all drama, cheaterse, liers, pretend, 2 timing.. ok i'm carried out.. shall we in basic terms say my analyze come first for now. I have no time to handle heartache considering that relationships in basic terms look to deliver me that. a sturdy guy is a sturdy guy and presently they are complicated to locate.
