can anyone tell me how to fix this because i can't listen to music and i've been playingthe same songs on my mp3 player for the past week!!!can someone explain to me how to fix this or if i need it fixed!!!!!!

Sound card drivers get "glitched" sometimes, Just go to Device manager abd UNinstall the sound card 's drivers,''
Then SHUT DOWN computer NOT REBOOT! Wait 2-5 MINUTES, then rerstart computer and let Windows find the sound card and REinstall the drivers.

Generally reinstall the driver. Get the latest driver online from the audio card manufacturers web site. Then install.

This happend to me..
What happend to me, was that I could still hear the system beeps, (digital+analog) but no other sounds..
Turns out I had to do a complete reformat.
If all else fails, I reccomend backing up the files you need, and reinstalling windows.
(PS: I had an SiS 650 Chipset, in case that's what you have too)
