sorry to sound dumb or whatever but what is foundation used for? i only ever use conceler. xxx

While concealer is for heavy cover for blemishes, it's not for all over coverage. It's typically a heavy makeup. A light weight foundation should be used for all over coverage. It clogs your pores less. It evens out skin tone, and helps your face look more balanced in color.

Well, some people just plaster it on and it just looks daft. But i use it to put a bit of colour to my face and hide a few freckles etc. I would never use a foundation to different to my own skin colour, the foundation line is not a very good look!!

Foundation covers up blemishes, like acne, redness, and evens out your skin tone. Add powder, a little blush, highlighter, and/or bronzer, and you've got a flawless face.

well u usually would use both of them together... concealer is meant for if you want to "conceal" certain pimples and zits and such... foundation is to make a sortof mask if you have alot of problem areas.... u usually use both, but its ok if u only use the concealer... foundation just blends it all in if u use it rite...i would use concealer first and foundation after if i were u, unless u have an abs. humungous pimple, then i would use concealer a little bit after too.... be sure not to cake it on tho

foundation is used to even out your skin, to get rid of the red spots or uneven area. it makes your face look put together and ready for blush, eyeshadow etc. it makes your face a clean canvas to work on.

foundation goes on ur whole face and over concealer...but if you dont have anything to cover up the dont use it conceraler only goes under the eyes....if you have dark rings around em
