Old cartoons makes us brust into laughter.The new ones are so stupid & idiotic.

tom and jerry is ok but i do miss the old cartoons like bugs bunny and his friends that is what i was raise on and they are still funny to me.
I can't get into these new one on tv now.

I kind of agree, New Cartoons these days lack something other then entertainment. The only show that I enjoy watching is Kim Possible that was a successful show because they had a veteran writer from the 80's who did Transformers he had some experience writing comedy in Cartoons. The problem is some Writers who do these shows don't have any idea what the hell there doing that they try so hard to make it funny that they forget other people are not laughing with them.

I know your question is probably rhetorical, but I think that some of the responses say it all. With all the political correctness out there, animators today are stymied and stifled on what they can and cannot produce. I am in my 40s and will STILL stop in my tracks if Boomerang has a Bugs Bunny marathon on. I have noticed that they've kind of made Bugs disappear over the last few months. The entire Looney Tunes gang were great. I'm sure I've seen every one of those cartoons thousands of times.

The main reason is cartoons have now a different focus. Selling toys and addicting kids.
Long story lines, and flashy action scence is what hooks kids and keeps them comming back. Not to mention buy the toys.
If you want funny stuff look for the more alternative stuff, to be honest though most of it is for a mature auidence however there are some funny ones. Check out http://www.newgrounds.com/

Old cartoons were able to use a lot of violence that was funny. New comics have restrictions up the wazoo so they can barely do anything.
I loved Tom and Jerry too, until they made them talk. Those were horrible.

They CAN make them but the problem is they can't SELL them because liberals have scared sponsors away from anything that is deemed not Politically Correct. That would include anything that is actually funny, thus the sad state of animation we all don't watch.

Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends is good....that makes me burst out laughing....and how about Family Guy? no one can't laugh at that.
