Not sure what you are asking.
Is it: "Are Americans prepared for another attack"??
Or, "Are Americans capable of attacking another country"???
And which recent past are you talking about?
The World Trade Center attack or when we foolishly attacked Iraq?
If it is the first of my questions, I would say that most Americans just don't get the fact that we are now living in a different world.
We have not taken the threat seriously.
And if the fact that our government was ill-prepared for the disaster left after Hurricane Katrina didn't get across to Americans, then we're all a bunch of ignorant zombies who only care about the next "American Idol".
So, enough on my rant.
The point being, all indications show that from our federal, state and local government to the people on our block and in our homes are NOT prepared for a terrorist attack.
We seem to be in a perpetual state of delusion.
I just hope there are a few good British agents out there who can save our azz again, like they did last week!

Yes. How long Bin Laden planned 9/11 goes further back than what has been recorded. Millions of Muslims came to the U.S. in the late 60' with a big influx in the 70's. I believe there are hundreds of "Sleeper Cells" in the large cities in America...just waiting, just waiting.

Duh, anyone can have an attack. But they stopped many, too. Why India did not stop recent attack? Does our government suck more than America?
