Get on the Dan Ryan north to the Kennedy and shoot off to the Edens. Continue north on the Edens for quite a while until you pass Dundee Road (do NOT exit to the 294 Milwaukee, but...) continue to Lake-Cook road. Exit there and turn right. You only have to travel less than a mile on Lake Cook when you'll reach Green Bay Road. Turn left on Green Bay Road and look for the Ravinia wooden archway sign and you will tun right to enter what is called the West parking lot. Pay to park and walk from there to the Ravinia entrance.

The second set of directions above will take you to the service entrance at a back corner of the park.

When you cross the tracks on Lake-Cook, there is a Metra station. if you arrive early enough, you can usually park there. Depends on who the act is.

There is also another station about a mile north on Roger Williams Ave. in Highland Park. There is a shuttle bus from there.

If you are going to see a very popular act, be advised that traffic may be backed up onto the Edens, getting worse the closer you get to show time.

If you are not averse to exercise, get off of the Edens at Dundee, go east to Green Bay Road, then about 1/4 mile north to the Community Center. Park there. Cross the tracks and walk up the bike path to Ravinia it's a shade over a mile. Take a flashlight because the trail will be dark when the shows over. But parking and walking may be faster than fighting one traffic jam to get in and another to get out.
