In most countries, this is private information that is not even available to the companies. Many owners of shares keep them in "street name" -- meaning that the company only knows the name of the investment bank that the true owner uses.

In many countries owners are required to make their holding public once a certain threshhold is reached. For example, in the USA, anyone owning at least 5% of a company must make that information public.

You may be able to find that kind of information in India if company statements are made available.
