It all depends on when you buy. The condos in my complex are all exactly the same -2 bed/2.5 bath 1275 sq. ft. in Fullerton, CA.
My neighbor pays $750 per/mo for mortgage, bought in 1998
I pay $1100 per/mo for mortgage, bought in 2001
Other neighbor pays $2200 per/mo for mortgage, bought last year.

$200.00 month in NC, but that is just the rent for the lot my mobile home is on. I've lived here 30 years, so my home has long been paid for.
