PHONE taps (terrorists or what?)
banck records checked .(tofind what i am not to sure)
people held without bond or charges .(terrorists and those suspected)
bans on smoking at the beach .( to keep beaches clean? when all kinds of tampon aplictors and trash wash up all the time .)
a license to sell eggs .(collect more revenues)
guns restricted to a select few in New York ,NEW jersey ,California and all over .(prevents freedom to own anything you want to buy )
licenses to drive and forced insurance .(mandates buying a product)
recycling violations with 5000 dollar fines( I bought it so what i do with it should be my business.)
LIC.to broadcast over the air waves (no pirate radio )
I could go on for ever but these are just a few rights we have lost .
We have begun to legistlate morality and justice and the line is very thin at this point .
THEY have begun crossing it and testing to see how far we will let them go .
I fear soon we will have to wake up and go to work or face jail .

If you have a child support order, you already have to go to work or face jail. Our freedoms that were given us by our founding fathers are slowly fading away. The key point is that America still has freedom's that 3rd world countries don't so as long as we stay 1 step ahead of Russia, Korea, and Vietnam, we are enjoying our "remarkable freedoms". No, I don't like it any more than you do, but why bother standing up to the government about it, we ll only end up shot, missing, or a poster child for the clinically insane.

Its happening in lots of countries,not just the usa&britain,slowly but steadily we are all being oppressed in one way or another-more rules,more laws and more regulations every few months or so,it seems.Its understood by most people the need to have rules,laws,and regs,but it just seems like some governments are now making them up as they see fit,not good,more to come though i'me afraid--fact of life-aahh well:-/

Yes, our civil liberties are being abused, and we are allowing it to happen. Of course the neo cons will disagree but it's true.
