The Mr. Clean "Eraser"...I swear by this sponge like wizard. I really haven't found anything like it. If it works good for you and you really like it then start looking in dollar stores for the knock down price. You'll save some money that way and they work just as good. It's worth a shot to see if it will help with rings as well, good luck.

A polishing glove. You can buy this at a decent jewelry store, or possibly supermarket. These are so HANDY! They are impregnated with stuff that shines things up beautifully, especially little things like rings that are hard to do with conventional silver cleaning products.
I think the cost was about $5 and is worth every penny.

Dish washing powder is brilliant. Just add a little to a dish of water and drop your rings into it. Allow them to steep for about 10 minutes then just wipe them off with kitchen towel or newspaper. Your rings will come up sparkling. And any stones will be cleaned to. It is also great for taking the brown off stainless steel sinks without damaging the sinks protective surface.
