Congrats on your grant - is that dollars, pounds or something else? How long does it have to last?
I'm not doing so bad today, getting ready to go and work in Uganda next week so it's been checking Heathrow for changes to hand luggage allowance after the terrorist thing last week. Did a trial pack of my case and weighted it, found I have 5kG to spare so I can pack more stuff - hurrah! Went to the post office to post back things I have borrowed off friends and forgot to return - the last Harry potter book I borrowed from my friends son cost over 3 quid (6 dollars)! Just the usual pre-new job stuff, but I have rented "A History of Violence" and the new Spike Lee film to watch tonight so that will end my day off nicely.

Actually I am doing fine at the moment. I'm at work and just had lunch. It's now 1:30 in the afternoon. No one is bugging the crap out of me at present. I get off at 4 and can do what I want! Yes! I'd say I am having a very fine day.
By the by.....congratulations! Hope this helps you out a whole lot and makes your financial situation much easier in the long run.
