No, with all my heart i say no, I've been in a long distance relationship for over 2+ years and its as healthy as any other relationship, but then again it all depends on the person you're with and how trustworthy and committed they are to you and the relationship...there's something to think about.

.............that's all i have to add

Of course.

The old saying a good man is hard to find...is true. A few men will cheat with no chance of getting caught, Some men will cheat no matter what, and most men, given the opportunity, will cheat. distance will open up much more opportunity. and if he's young and stupid, yea, you know.

It sounds like your young, I'm not, so listen up. Life is hard and I've learned allot the hard way. Example: there are two types of people givers and takers. I'm a giver and givers get shitt on, but the flip side is we have a great deal of passion in everything we do. Takers are, well, takers. they want you to be there for them because they want to "take" or have it all and give little in return.

Most men are takers, therefore the cake of you at home or wherever you are and the icing of some ho at home is simply too much for a young man in a distance relationship.

Never under any circumstance do anything because of someone else. (except your kids) If your in a long distance relationship you better damn well want to be in it for you. If not you will regret it, trust me. Don't hang onto someone because they who want you to hang in there.

The flip side is - you know him better then we do so ultimately you are in control of your own destiny.

Since there is less physical contact there is a greater probability that men OR women (for that matter) would be more likely to cheat. This is largely because the chances of getting caught are far less. That being said, I am currently in a long distance relationship and I am finding a tough time trusting my gf, but alas I love her so here I am willing to put my neck out on the line.

Honey, a guy will cheat on you if he lived just around the corner. A long distance relationship is all a guy want, he will talk you on the phone or internet and then out and have sex with another woman knowing he has just told you that he loves you.

many of the studies suggesting that men are more likely to cheat come from data collected in 1995. studies from recent data suggest a more even distribution. men are now only slightly more likely to cheat in any relationship, and sadly this is not due to a decline in the percentage of men whove cheated, but an increase in women cheating.

Someone else on here said it best..you have to trust the person you're with in any relationship. if you cant trust them, then its not worth being with them.

now that around 60 percent of all people cheat on average, its tougher to find decent people out there. just know where to look and build a good relationship, and if you know the person well enough, you already know if they will or wont cheat

There is a little bit more of a possiblity, but you have to be willing to trust your guy. If your not sure and positive that you know he will not cheat, then talk to him about and maybe get a promise ring over it.

Of course they are most likelly to cheat. If you are not there to give "it" to them when the urge arises, a man will get it from someone who is there in living, breathing, color. Talking to you on the phone or internet will only work for so long, it gets old after a while.

If you all have an open relationship to one anothere. He can tell you anything you can tell him anything, yall talk on a regulare basic. Don't worry but nothing. But if he the total oppsite of this, don't have time for you, talk to his boys about yall problems. There might be a 50% chance that he may cheat.
