Seeing...hard to become an instant visionary mystic... On the physical side you could try traditional enTHEOgenic substances, such as psilocybin mushrooms, mescaline, ayahuasca and other "fruits of the gods". This combined with whatever faith you might have will probably lead to some kind of visionary / mystical experiences.
Another way would be physical disciplines, fasting, sensory deprivation etc...
a bit down to earth but a good path to "seeing gods"

To see it, just look around!

Which one are you looking for? There are many books of mythology and folk tales that speak of various gods and goddesses...perhaps you should try some of those.
