Is Superman Returns one of those movies that is better to watch in theatres as compared to renting it when it comes out on DVD? Because I want to see it so bad, I just don't know if it is worth it.

Definitely for the big screen. Best seen at IMAX with 3D in select scenes.

Superman Returns is definitely a movie to go see in the theaters. Unless you have the capability to recreate the sound system and have a screen of comparable quality to one at your local cinema, you will be missing out on the experience.

It would be OK on DVD, but definitely better in theatre. It is also a really good movie and keeps you interested for the whole 2.5 hours! I recommend spending the 10 bucks...

It is a real theatre movie. Wait if you have to for getting to see it first on theatre alone.

it sucked in theaters so it is a waste of time. Sad that the man who made that superman movie made the first two X men movies but he eft the x men to make superman and man was that a mistake

Yes, it is...the special effects are great, and they make for really awesome eye candy when you watch it in theaters.
