Definitely for the big screen. Best seen at IMAX with 3D in select scenes.

Superman Returns is definitely a movie to go see in the theaters. Unless you have the capability to recreate the sound system and have a screen of comparable quality to one at your local cinema, you will be missing out on the experience.

It would be OK on DVD, but definitely better in theatre. It is also a really good movie and keeps you interested for the whole 2.5 hours! I recommend spending the 10 bucks...

it sucked in theaters so it is a waste of time. Sad that the man who made that superman movie made the first two X men movies but he eft the x men to make superman and man was that a mistake
