Pharmacy technician. The pay isn't nearly as much but you would at least still be working in your field.

How about asking at the "source" of education for pharmacist...IE University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin has a very good pharmacy school & does research. They could probably guide you.. Here is a link to their site to get u started....
