For me, Grosso's goal against Germany in the 119th minute and Trezeguet's penalty hitting the post in the final, those were terrible moments, that I do not want to watch again!

#1 Chelsea Fan: I know what you mean, seeing Ballack in tears broke my heart, same as seeing Beckham in tears, and Trezeguet in tears...there were too many heartbreaking moments at this World Cup!

Seeing the look on Lehmann's face after Grosso's goal went in, that was awfully sad as well.

Seeing those goals... like Philipp Lahm for Germany- their first ever goal it was wicked, then there was Frings, Klose, Podolski. I loved the Joe Cole one for England I think it was the best one England ever had. Then seeing how these people celebrate after the goal comes in, all those happy faces from the fans and then the sad ones that opposite the teams.
Seeing great footballers cry because they are knocked out as you said is so is not what i would want to see again that's if i was to comfort them lol!
The terrible moment was the head butt and when Rooney was sent off... those cause such controversy!

When I first saw this question I thought two things...

1. any italians playing (no racism, just soccerleagueism)
2. brasil playing like they didn't even know each other or that they were supposed to play like JOGA BONITO Brazilians.

but after awhile I realized, the World Cup is great, there's always a good side to everything because pretty much every team deserves to be there. I may not like the way Italians play (fairness wise) but they have the best defense in the world in my eyes. The same with Brasil, I am a crazy Brasil fan and that's why I was so dissapointed when they didn't play like true Brazilians...but Brasil at their worst is better than most teams in the World Cup.

It's the world cup, its a celebration b1tches!

Seeing poor, poor michael ballack almost in tears when Germany lost. I simply luv him. makes me wanna cry, life is so cruel. then stupid Materazzi headbutting poor poor zizou and the latter getting a red card. Then maybe Trezeguet's penalty miss. But poor poor Ballack

Zidane's headbutt is definitely something I don't wanna see again.I don't mind seeing the players cry because it shows they're human. Also I don't wanna see the first goal scored by Peter Crouch the hairpuller against Trinidad and Tobago and Brent Sancho's own goal in the match against Paraguay!.

brazil's lackluster performance....really heartbreaking to see 'cuz i know they could have done so much better. grosso's goal vs. germany is a shocker i haven't recovered from. also, zizou's outburst and esp. trezeguet's miss which i still don't understand 'cuz he's just sooo good at juve... and materrazi celebrating his team's win, that really takes the cake. i don't mind italy winning, but that guy i couldn't take.

Pretty mutch all of it apart from Italy winning an extra star on their shirt. International football is crap now. The last good one was '86 :( '82 was the best.
