because most people today seem to have some entitlement mentality and think that everyone owes them something.

Ask someone that works there to clean off the tables. Or it could just be the McDonald's you go to, because I've never came across that problem

The unfortunate truth is that it all starts at home, Where there their parents do it for them, then at school they do just what they want as teachers are too afraid to say or do anything, in case they get thumped or abused. It is all down to plain ignorance and idleness
what is need is someone in the government who is not frightened to say anything and bring back the correct short sharp punishments we used to have.
Or like Europe fine people on the spot for there ignorance.
they have started this in Edinburgh and it works

They don't clean up anywhere else, they expect someone to do it for them.
Our McDonalds is fast to clean up the tables very seldom does it sit on more than 1 table.
People should respect others and teach their children too.

I find that a lot of younger people eat @ McDonald's. So, I think that the younger guests are more careless and less responsible. That also leads to McDonald's having younger employees.... they are careless too. That then leads to the dirty tables.

Because they are rude. They just weren't loved as a child, so they take their hatred out on people that cannot easily defend themselves. Like people that have to clean that up and have no choice, because it is their job.
