it becomes inefficient as it needs to allow the air to circulate inside, leave it closed long enough and it will eventually cool down enough.

yes its true.in frost free fridges there are small pores which let the cold air of the fan to enter.if the fridge is over packed then the air won't circulate which affects the cooling effects of the fridge.if ur fridge is not cooling properly then empty ur fridge first then clean it properly.after that run the fridge at min temp for 10 mins and slowly increase the temp to max.keep the fridge on max temp for 1 hr and then reset ur req temp.ur fridge will cool well after that.try it once.

YES and it will cause the refrigerator to run longer [ makes the power bill charges higher] and can stop the fridge. You may need a new fridge or new electrical system.

I don't know, but i've heard that a fridge that is more on the full side, rather than the empty side, keeps the cold easier. I don't know if it is true or not, that's just what I've been told. I don't know about overstuffing it though.

Cold air cant get around the food to freeze it properly so it has to work harder to maintain the same temp

No but the more you pack in the less effective it chills your food. As the chill has to go round to many objects.

in as much that refigerators work by cold air circulating the food. if you overpack then air cant circulate. it doesnt acxtually stop fridge working, just not effective
